Question 2010 Street Glide dual pipe options

So I've been looking around to see what's available as far as dual pipes on my Street Glide (don't like the 1 pipe look of the 2010 models, plus want to get rid of the cat converters), and wanted to know what other options are available. I'd like to go with true duals of some kind.

So far, I've found that Vance and Hines has the Power Dual head pipes for 2010 models that come complete with a cross over. I like V&H, and have had their pipes before, but I think that crossover is a little fugly. I could live with the looks I guess.

Kuryakyn will in 2 weeks have a version of their Crusher True Duals available for the 2010 models (will be their part number 476 per the sales guy I talked to). If their 2010 design looks like the 09 design.. I may end up going with it!

Rinehart is advertising their true dual pipes, but man that's a lotta dough just for head pipes. I wouldn't have any money left for the mufflers! Plus, their pipe arrangement looks like a twisted pretzel..

Anybody know of what other options might be available? Keep in mind that as I understand it.. in 2010, HD moved the O2 sensors due to the cat converter in the head pipes, and also changed the hole size.. so just any 09 system won't fit.

Thanks

Doc

Default duals

I ran across these yesterday, seem promising. With the one from jackpot you just need the stock connector to the muffler.

If you don't like the crossover on the V&H Power duals just go with the dresser duals.

They are available in chrome or black.

V&H will send you the '09 O2 sensors and you just need to replace them. I went with the V&H 2-1 because it was A LOT cheaper but rather than replacing the O2 senors I was just going to go with a PCV which you have to disconnect the sensors anyway so nothing to worry about.

Thumbs up

http://www.cwgrilles.com/Merchant2/m...?Store_Code=MC have you checked out carriage works? they have a true duel out and are coming out with a 2-1 header pipe . I installed one of their slip ons on my 10 streetglide. awesome sound ! I'm using the stock head pipe for now with a heavy breather and direct link tuner. I want to see what their 2-1 looks like when it comes out. the slip on has a really nice low sound not overly loud or obnoxious just a good deep tone. the sound bite on the website does no justice to how good this muffler sounds. they need to fix that for sure. the quality is exceptional. I'm very pleased with this choice.another option!

+1. These true duals are top notch. I just installed them myself on my '10 FLHXSE. I can't imagine you being disappointed.

It should almost be illegal how easy it was to get to the harness for the O2 sensors. Much easier than on my '09 Softail Deluxe.

If I had the cash I would have picked up the dresser duals and the HI-OUTPUT Slip-Ons
