Have been looking for a pair of slip-ons for my 09 FLHT in black but have been having a hard time deciding. I have found that either most pipes are far too loud or sound basically like stock. I really enjoy the deep tone of the Monster Ovals but want something a bit louder. Checked out the V&H widows, by calling V&H, but they said that they're pretty loud. Found the Klock Werks Platinum Revolvers in black, they look really good, but I can't find any sound bytes. Does anyone know how they compare to the MO's?

I can't speak for the Klock Werks, but I have had the MOs for 8500 miles now and they are definitially louder than at first and certainly louder than stock. I reciently rented an Ultra for a week, so I had a pretty good comparison of stock to MOs. They are louder in a more mellow way, though. They are not as raspy as any of the other pipes I've heard. They are a little like my buddys 07 SE Ultras pipes, but have a lower frequency. Hope this helps.

I have not heard the Klockwerks but I really like the low tone on my Montser ovals. The sound on these really changes with the headpipe too. I use the powerduals from V&H.
