Yes I know, since I posted this there has been a run on all Walmarts nationwide and this product is currrently on back order.
For those of you who are curious or want to see how accurate your guage is this thing seems to be working.

just boil some water on the stove. stick the thermometer in the boiling water. if it's near 212 it's accurate.
Let us know if it works, I bought the HD version and still sometimes wonder how accurate it is. Good luck.
