Who on this forum could be cheaper than me? I tested this against the one my wife sticks in the turkey (in hot water). They both read 190. I dropped it on my garage floor and it didn't break. I stuck it in my oil sump and the top still sticks out about 2" so it won't drop in. I rode my bike around the block then checked the temp... Oil read 125., outside temp was 58. The red line stays up long enough to get a reading. I'd rather spend that $139 on a new oil cooler. I had one of those $139 jobs on a previous bike. It lasted until I got in a big rain at Sturgis.

Word has it that the instructions enclosed with every rectal thermometer says,
Your new rectal thermometer was crafted with the utmost care and personally
tested for accuracy.....And I thought my job sucked!! (Johnson-Johnson)
