Default Outer fairing lower screws, where art thou?

I finally decided that I was going to go with the fairing mounted mirrors on my Limited and now (in the teens) would be a good time to change over. All went well for the first 10 min. then spent the next 20 looking for the two lower screws holding the outer fairing. I've got the manual, I'm looking at the diagram but I still cannot figure out where they are. Yes, I wear glasses, Bi-focals even. Can anybody help a poor old blind man find his screws?

Look under the lower fork brace while kneeling next to the tank. It's dark in there but you'll see two little screws on each side. good luck and DO NOT overtighten these with reinstallation. Easily stripped. Put some tube socks over the driving lights to prevent scratches to the fairing. Lastly, take your time when you put the screws back in paying careful attention not to cross-thread. Did I mention these are easily stripped. LOL>

You're going to have to turn the bars fully to one side. If you look past the fork tube, in between the upper and lower tripple clamps you will see a t-27 black torx in the chrome peice.

turn the bars and use a light. There is one on each side. I made the mistake of over tightening once and they do strip easy

Yeah they are close to the fork tubes, maybe hidden by that rubber dampner which you can slide out of the way. I replaced those screws w a allen head bolt so I could get them back in without loosing them.
