Default Can I ride the damn thing or not?

Put a SE AC on this weekend to go with my Thunderheader slip-ons. I'm currently waiting for my TTS Mastertune. My question isn't "should I remap", because I am going to ASAP. My question is, can I ride to work for a few days until I can remap?

Yes. It won't hurt a thing except maybe gas mileage.

I wouldn't until you re-map. It will run lean and yellow your pipes.

Don't think I would. The heat is going to be bad because of the mods and you can expect those pipes to yellow. I have a set of rush pipes I can show you the shade and placement of that sweet color on.

It could yellow the pipes. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

I just did my SEAC change and let me tell you your not going to switch back very easily. You have to remove this bracket and in order to do that you have to have someone hold the fuel tank in the air enough to let you get a socket wrench in there. Or at least that was the way it worked on my '10 SG.

Just wait... If you run lean that could cause problems and everything I read said you will run lean with the SEAC and stock map.

The bike will run lean until the remap. The factory settings without the power adders are lean. Even with a closed loop system (which is 14.7 to one or so while in closed loop), the o2 sensors will be playing catch up since your engine flows so much more air. The optimum from an emissions standpoint is to have a fuel map that requires very little feedback to keep on track. 14.7 to one, even if it doesn't kill your engine, will probably yellow your pipes. Long story short, you can ride your bike, not damage your engine, but your pipes may look mellow yellow.
