Actually the Iphone and Itouch can stream music via bluetooth. I have been doing for a while now to my hearing aids and to some BT headphones I have here in Afghan. Problem I have ran in to is most headsets that are BT capable are not programmed to receive streaming music.

Here is the quick low down. The Iphone has to be above a 1st Generation phone meaning that it has to be 3G or 3G(S). From the apple website it says that you can stream music. When music streams it is sent using a Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) so your device that your using has to accept this type of bluetooth transfer. I know that in my cage that I am able to use the music streaming to my Pioneer radio also. The main thing is to make sure that you use a compatible device.
