Default Battery Tender 94654-98B

Time for another tender. My Radio Shack finally gave out after 10 years.
Does anyone have this model and how well has it worked for ya?
Thanks for the input

SuperSmart® Battery Tender®

Many of the same features as the Global Battery Charger, but smaller and more economical. It's better than a trickle charger, because of the "smart" feature that turns itself on and off as needed, so your battery never overcharges.

Don't have that specific model, but any tender that will shut itself off when charged is what you want. I have the Battery Tender Plus model and it works. Purchased from here: http://www.pacificbattery.com/charge...FSBJagodNTf-Tg

Deltran battery tender jr., HD's and Drag Specialties are all the same one made by Deltran. Take a look at them and you will see that the only difference is the stickers and the color of the lights as they set them up. They all are good so get whichever gives you the best price.

I have the Harley one and love it. I had one on my 05 and it came from the dealer on my 09. I would suggest getting the part that attaches to your battery so you do not have to keep taking your seat on and off.

Shop around on ebay and you can find the battery tender jr. for about half the price of the Harley one. I bought several of them at one time for a good price.

I like the Yausa battery tender, has REAL vents all the way around, not just dents where vents should be.
My HD sells them for $25, HOG members get another 15% off that.

I just picked up the HD Supersmart Battery Tender at St. Augustine HD.
List was $39.95- $8.38(discounted) + $1.89 tax = $31.56.
I went to other sites as suggested by other members and would have saved only a few $$'s once shipping was added.
I installed at 10:00pm, by 6:30 this am, it showed my battery fully charged. It appears this unit works well. Only time will tell. I did notice that a poster mentioned that the unit is not vented. They are vented.
I hope this one lasts as long as my old RS did.
Ride safe.
