Cant speak for the other brands but the Harley tender comes with the wire that can be hard wired to the battery as well as the wire with the clips.

This is the same brand that makes the HD units. It comes with the pigtail that you leave connected to the bike.

I have p/n 99863-93 that I have been using on my last four big-twins. It's made by Deltran for H-D and is virtually indestructable. Mine's over ten years old and it just plain works.

What I noticed was that the YAUSA tender has 25 slots top, bottom & sides, all are active vents.
On my HD tender only the 8 slots on the sides are vents, all the other dents are justs dents, not vents.
From all the models out there it seems that the YAUSA has the better venting......if that's important at all.
All the battery tenders out there appear to be good units, I haven't ever seen a bad comment on any except for price.

If you keep your bike plugged in to the thing whenever you aren't riding it, your battery will last so long it'll be an antique....

DAWGS as always is right the Harley unit and Battery tender Jr. are one in the same. This is the second bike mine has been on, and it is still doing the job.
