Road King- Girl's Bike??

Ok, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to start anything. And truly, maybe I just took it wrong, like he was putting down my bike as not being as good as his. I don't know. I believe my friend said he has an Ultra. And yes, I believe he said most women ride Road Kings. I don't think he said it was a girls bike. That was my statement in the subject line, not his. I'll have to ask for sure though. Sorry, after reading the replies and rethinking, I do believe I just took it wrong.
I did like the Richard Cranium remark though, I must remember that one! lol

Since you redeemed yourself here, I'd say to just forget about dudes remarks and enjoy that RK. BTW, I use the Richard Cranium remark a good bit myself, there's always plenty of those around to stir up the stink.

Don't worry about what others think. For the longest time my brother-in law and father-in-law used to give me chit for riding a geezer bike with bags. Now that they both traded in their softails for street glides I give them chit for riding a bike with a radio....but I do ask them to turn it up at stop lights.

It really shocks me that any member would let a thread like this get under their skin. It was certainly not the author's intention to upset anyone and she has contacted me to have this thread removed. I have elected not to though. I've been riding Harley's since 1976 and have many women friends who ride. Just because a woman rides a certain harley does not make it a "girlie" bike. I have female friends riding Ultras. I don't consider an Ultra a girlie bike. Calm down people and enjoy the humor of this forum. We take **** to serious most of the time here.

i've got two buddies who ride roadkings, and i've ridden both of their bikes. not at any time did i feel the need while riding a roadking, to go shopping for leotards or a push up bra. so i'd say you're safe. myself i ride a streetglide. it's always amusing/amazing what others will say to try to get a rise out of someone. the person who said that probably wouldn't be able to handle a 350 honda, let alone a real motorcycle. road kings are very cool bikes, not to worry.
