I use the bag that I put on my right rear crash bar. I then plug it into my battery tender wire so it is live all the time. This is permanently mounted and easily disconected when i use the tender.

 

yes, the battery tender plug crossed my mind, would save having to fool with gettingto the battery for sure!! I just happen to have one of those plugs i can modify as well from my ATV.

 

I'm wiring in a cigarette lighter plug hub with a USB in one of my saddle bags via the Battery Tender quick disconnect just for those long trips and cell phone or ipod charging. 8 bucks on ebay shipping included

 

I found another solution that I am considering.....IronCrossAudio has an Ipod cable that they can integrate into the factory radio. They claim that it can charge with the bike off as well.

No remote to hide the ipod somewhere besides in the open.

 

I got one of these chrome usb charging ports with my pyle sound system for my dyna just found this pic of one on another site wow they are nuts on the price from that site i didn't even pay that for my whole system this site wants $154 bucks i still have to mount mine but figure i can use it for several things.
