been looking to lower my bike a bit due to shortness problems i ride 2 up alot and was wondering if those kits i c on ebay the r.u.b one or the t.w.c ones are anygood? if anyone has used them can u give me some input on how your ride changed for better or worse and also i was looking inot the 1 1/2 inch lowereing one thanks

 

I put the T.W.C 1 1/2' lowering kit on my '06 Ultra.....very easy install and it works fine....I can't tell any difference in handling, but I do get some fender rubs occassionally with a passenger.....I have to pump up the shocks to 35psi or more, which I don't like

I ended up ordering a 1" kit from eGlidegoodies which should be better for 2up riding

I'll sell you my 1 1/2" kit for $50 if you are interested.....1000 miles on it

I have the solow kit that I bought off ebay and have been very happy with it. I normally ride solo and haven't had any issues.

I bought the T.W.C. "1 1/2 kit off ebay for my RoadKing Classic works just fine for 2 up riding, I run 26 psi in the shocks, no rubbing, well made kit and they give you the longer bolts to use, unlike some kits, looks cool!

 

I personally am not impressed . I have an electra glide , and normally i ride mine with very little air in my rear shocks, i have to almost over fill mine to ride a passenger. The seat screw cut my tire a little. i weigh 225lbs it was rubbing with my 9 year old daughter on the back.
