I'm going with the Beads for a lifetime balance and, I don't want the ugly a$$ wheel weights stuck on my wheel that never last the life of the tire. I've seen the stick on weights come off someone's bike while riding in a group, and hitting someone behind him.

How are the e3's on wet roads? That tread pattern just doesn't look like it would disperse the water as well as the 402's. I get good mileage with the 402's...15,000 on the rear now and still some left... I like what everyone is saying about the E3's but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. I do well on the 402's and the tread pattern on the E3's make me nervous.

Anyone have a lot of wet road experience with the E3's?

Nothing available on milage claims.
The Dunlop American E3's are Dunlop's answer to the proprietary tires on the new touring bikes. Particularly the wide rear tire.

They will be the same tire HD sells but with a slightly different name to adhere to the contract with HD. At least this is what I understand to be true.

In the 39 years I've been riding and the 31 of those years on street bikes I have never ridden on a better tire than the E3's. Not saying there aren't better tires but in all the one's I've had the pleasure of riding on none were better.

The grooves in the road literally disappeared as far as the ride goes.

I put an E3 on the front of my Night Train and was so impressed with it I changed out the stock tires on my 99 Electra Glide with half the tread left and I'm so glad I did. Between the tires, the Ohlins shocks and the Progressive Stabilizer Link that bike rides like it's glued to the road.

I like to use the Dyna Beads and I'm also looking at the Ride-On sealant. I figure the Ride-On will be great with the car tire I'm putting on the NT.
