More.. just checked instamapper and the MotionX Lite app is much better.
It is more of a tracker. After the walk it emails yourself or whoever the trip specs and a link to a google map of the route you covered. Check the app info to see how much more it provides...
Ok MotionX is got it beat hands down. Just tried motionx and it is so good. Now can someone turn the heat up outside!
Technology has gone too far and I do not want anyone tracking me, be it friend or foe, IOW the feds. Of course I have used a cell phone for many years, since they first came out but my uses are simple. I make and take calls, period.
I have been using Google maps "Latitude" on my Crackberry with a riding buddy for about a year. Works like the tracker apps you guys are describing for your iphones and it is free.
