Well I'll let you know how it goes I just bought it. Yeah a little expensive compared to the others, but I like the install process I'm confortable with that as its exactly like the "zagg invisi-shield" stuff I use on my iPhones and iPods and it works GREAT.
So I'm going to check with a local guy to install the Batwing kit and see how much he wants to do it. I might just try it myself if he's on drugs LOL. I'll let everyone know how it goes. The bag lids were my MAIN concern for now as it looks like I wont hit the road for a while yet due to !*$!@&%-ing 8" of Snow and 7 degrees with 35 mph head wind.

here's an idea for those that don't want to pay a lot for a permanent type of film.
buy the 6-8" wide packing film used to wrap things like tires or around big bundles. A roll of 6" wide film at an office supply store is about $10-15 and has hundreds of yards of the stuff.
Now this is VERY thin stuff that stretches and clings. It will protect paint from bugs and small rocks/stuff, but will still allow big rocks and stuff to chip paint. But for a temporary film to keep the worst off your bike when travelling to a show or on vacation, it is cheap, won't look too bad if you get good or take your time, and when you get where you are going, just pull it off and toss!

Well I got the kit for the bags and haven't had the time to do them yet. Looks top notch and it was shipped SUPER fast even from across the US! I did speak to my local place that puts the 3m film on and they said 160 installed on the Fairing. But there was a lot of extra patterns they had for the FLHTC if I was interested. So I gotta go take a look at the patterns and see what they can do. I'm going to be very critical it does that "orange peel" look that wont hang with me.
