I had a Shark Evo 2. Looked at all the flip ups before getting it. Had a car turn left in front of me and the helmet did good. So I needed a new one.
Was getting ready to order a Shark again, when I came across a Schuberth C3 Helmet.
Pricey, but I ordered it anyway. This hat really impresses me............(usually very hard to do)........Seals the neck for cold weather, very quite, rock stead at 90+........(about as fast as my WG will go).... with NO windshield. Vents move more air, larger more adjustable sun shield, dual no fog front visor. Nice quick release strap
Everything works with a lot more precession.
Just my $.002.

I don't wear a helment in the small town I live in , but on a trip I wear a Scorpion 700 full face. Great fit cause you can access the foam inside and shave it if need be. Iron Pony in Columbus, Ohio, the largest store of it's kind in the country { an old K-Mart stuffed to the roof } has 1000's of discounted helments as well as parts. I just bought another 700 for $79.99. It was just an older pattern and color and they had a pallet of them 12 high. Google them, it's worth it.

My wife and I both wear Shoei FF helmets (RF-1000, and FR-1100); they come with a 7 year warranty. This brand fits our heads well, and since I commute in sub-freezing weather, I appreciate the FF. I pull a neck gator up over my chin and secure the helmet's strap over it. This keeps the cold drafts from going down my jacket's neck opening.

I'm looking for a new Full Face...........I have a couple of ICON ones left over from my sport bike days but the schemes looks pretty goofy on a Road King lol....especially an orange one!
Scorpion 700 is a nice choice....fog free shield, replaceable lining and a nice flat back color if you choose so...and reasonably priced as well So that will probably be my next FF helmet

The EXO-750 is the newer version of the 700 and has a more impact absorbing shell to meet the ECE requirements.

A visor equipped Shoei RJAir is what I like. When facing the sun, you can tip you head down slightly and block out the sun with the visor, or even wear a cap underneath to have a longer visor. Their vent system works great.
Worst helmet was the half helmet I bought for MSF classes. I made the mistake of taking it on a trip to Sturgis, thinking it would be cooler in the August heat, but the cross wind pull on it gave me a sore neck.
My lady, on the other hand, has a Harley full face, and finds it gives her much better protection up in the wind behind me.
