Shark Evoline Series 2. If you want to wear it year-round, don't get black. I wired mine up with an Edsets unit, and it's great.

Here's a few pics with the Edsets.

A few things to keep in mind....They run big. I wear a Medium pretty much across the board, but I'm a Small in the Shark. They're also designed for round heads, I had to do a little surgery to the front foam to get it to sit comfortably. There's also no speaker pockets if you want to use a headset. I ended up pulling the foam out of the sides and drill pockets with a forstner bit.

I love my Shoei Qwest......better for harley riders.....venting designed for more of an upright sitting position than the Shoei RF1100 designed for the forward lean of a sport bike....

Many of the high dollar full face helmets from Arai and Shoei are designed for sport bike riders riding position.....this one is different...highly recommend....

here is a review:

here is a picture of one like mine....

Have never worn a full helmet. Never will. Have worn a "beanie". 99% of the time that I wear a helmet it is a 3/4 with a face shield. That is in cold weather. To keep my old head from freezing.

With that in mind, you might want to take a look at the Shark helmet. It was featured in Rider magazine during the last year. It's a very good FF, but converts to a true 1/2, as well. (That means no appendage on top of the helmet to catch the wind.) Also includes a flip-down sun shade. I've seldom had fogging problems with it.

It's just one option, but keeps me from having to carry an extra helmet.
It actually becomes a 3/4, not 1/2. I have a Shark Evoline Absolute that my kids bought for me. It is a large and doesn't fit me. Had it on once. $400 helmet I'll sell for $250 if anyone is interested. I ended up buying an HJC when I needed a new helmet while on a roadtrip 1200 miles from home.

Never had a FF, just wear 3/4 with shield in the winter and add a Schampa fleece mask. Works for me. Of course winter in Roswell, NM is only about 2 months.

Like anything you get what you pay for. With cost you get better venting, lighter weight and graphics. Venting is really only an issue in temps above 75-80F. Scorpion EXO-700 is good entry level helmet. You can usually pick one up for less than $150 on sale. Shoei RF-1100 is great helmet as is QWest. This time of year you'll need a bottle of anti fog spray too. Additonal tinted visor is nice to have too.

I'm looking for a new Full Face...........I have a couple of ICON ones left over from my sport bike days but the schemes looks pretty goofy on a Road King lol....especially an orange one!

Scorpion 700 is a nice choice....fog free shield, replaceable lining and a nice flat back color if you choose so...and reasonably priced as well So that will probably be my next FF helmet
