Default A Happy New Year & My New Ride!

Happy New Year!

I traded in my '09 Black Rocker C for a '10 Silver Street Glide and look forward to riding home tomorrow. I feel I got a good trade and price given that I bought both bikes from Bumpus HD.

This will be my first bagger after a long run of softails. I've got other bikes for tooling around town, but my fiancee hated riding on the back of the Rocker.

The funny thing is that I used to always tell my dad that "I would rather drive than ride a bike with a big fairing and plastic hardbags". Maybe at 40, I am becoming my dad.

Looking forward to learning more about baggers as I don't want to go overboard with bling--chromed forks and pipes are enough for me. Wheels might be nice after awhile...

Hope this photo attaches. It is still at the shop waiting for one part to install.

Congratulations...very nice bike!!

Never say never...lol.

I think you will be very happy with the SG. I traded in my Softail on a EG and have not had a moment of regret. The handling and comfort are amazing on the Glides.

Congrats!! Just remember that the passenger seat on the SG is not very comfortable for your GF and you may need to change it out. Other than that, you both should love it!
