Congrats on your new bike, you'll love it. First order of business on mine was for the wife's comfort. Sundowner seat, passenger backrest, and passenger floorboards.
Do your true dual pipes "rub" together where the two pipes cross behind the tranny on the right hand side of the bike. Is there metal to metal contact between the two pipes at that point?

Smurfsdad,
I spent an hour at the shop yesterday and looked very closely at the alignment and fit of the Rinehart true duals on my '10. There is no contact between the pipes at that point on the right side. Believe it or not, that was one of the things I paid a lot of attention to, as I'd never had a bagger. It seemed that the junction was a tight place and there is no contact. I can take a photo of it Saturday afternoon, as I'm making the 15 mile cold ride home.
I do like that the left side pipe routes under the bike vs. over the transmission.
I spent a lot of time researching pipes and had a hard time choosing between the Rineharts and the Vance & Hines. After I fired up the bike at the shop yesterday, I was sold on my choice.
