Ya, the bars look really nice..can't wait to ride and see how it feels. It may be a few days though...it's raining and blowing like heck here.

Instead of using a piece of cardboard, I find that using the nub of an appropriately sized ziptie works great.

I've used cardboard and the end of a zip tie and agree that the zip tie worked better. As for where it goes...pull the brake lever as if you were applying the brakes and stick the zip tie in the crack created between the lever and the perch.

Brake lite works fine after re-install....just used cardboard....
As far as the Acc switch goes...I am just going to use the HOT wire....is the wire going to the switch hot?
