I appreciate what Dawg does as much as anybody, but do you all ever read the service manual or parts manual? In other words RTFM.

Kinda hard to read the service manual when it's 40 miles away. My eyes aint what they used to be.

I don't have a service manual or parts manual, I was quoting the service Manager at my Harley Dealer. He said it's a good idea to change Engine Tranny and Primary at 5K mile intervals. It also helps to RTFF here.

My owner's Manual has a table in the back, Table 39. Regular Service Intervals: 2009 Touring Models.
