Default NEW Road King owner - whats the deal with Extended hard bags ?

QUESTION:
I am not a complete newbie when it comes to the whole HD scene, but I was wondering what the real deal is with fiberglass extended bags. I just picked up a 1994 Road King Classic and the softbags have to go. I am going for a low/long/clean look with this bike so some Extended hard bags are def. in my future. The question is, who's bags should I go with ? I am sure that their are tons of companies that sell them, and I figure this is the best place to hear different people's opinions on the different manf.'s...

As always, ANY and ALL help is greatly apprecaited..

Proteal, TopShop has some awesome bags, and would be my recommendation.

Dawg, you suck dude. That's just plain nasty. And my eyes hurt now. Damn you......

The bike I am picking up has the factory "soft" bags from the factory.
So I guess I am looking at getting a whole setup (brackets and all).
