Handle bar wiring plug info -
I have a 2004 FLHTCI and I have changed bars several times - also have assisted with a RG, same year.
I have a friend (forum member here) that has a 2009 and wanted to put the Wild1 575's on it... Local dealer quoted 8 hours labor at about $90 an hour {OUCH} I talked him into doing it himself - I said I would help all I could - He called yesterday and I drove to his house - he was a little hung-up on how to dismantle the left and right plug for the handlebar switches - I said not to worry, I could do this in my sleep..
WELL - somewhere between 04 and 09 HD got a wild hair and decided to change the design of those plugs... Still {after reading the service manual - lol} its a simple matter - why in the hell does HD have to change something that isn't broken is beyond me - but they do..
my 04 plug had a rubber (O-ring type gasket) around the top of the plug... remove that - take a small screwdriver and pop off the orange cap and use a very small tool to relase the wires... simple..
somewhere {After 04} = now you use a small needle nose to {pull up} on the inside of the plug - then use a paperclip to push in the little holes inside the plug - you will 'feel' a release, then you pull on the wire that corresponds to the paperclip in the hole -
like I said, once we got the 'meaning' it went well - we did find that on his bike at least two of the wire color's did not match what was in the schem/wiring of the service manual and getting the TBW AND all the other wires through that right hand side was a little tought but it all fit nice -
Just a learning curve for me - that I would pass this on to everone here - I am preaching to the chior sorta ,,, I know..

I posted a cross reference schematic photo somewhere here on the forum for swapping the TBW wiring from the OE to the 32310-08 sensor without the green clip. And yes, the duetsch changed to molex. Once you realize that you have to "unlock" the white piece in the middle it goes pretty easy.
BTW, didn't know you had any friends...glad to see you found one.

HD probably switched to the Molex connector in 2007 because it needed two additonal wires for the clutch interlock switch and the Deutsch connector used until then had 12 wire capacity; the additonal two wires required a total of 14.
Also, in the appendix to the Service Manual are drawings of the connectors' locations with numbers assigned to each. There is also a number key identifying the brand and wire capacity of each connector.
Glad you were able to complete the install.
