Well they're on now so here's some pics as promised.
New bars, mirrors and conchos covering the fairing mirror holes.
Bars are Ergo 'back" bars from Klock Werks.
Mirrors are "Low Brow" from Joker Machine.
Both items available from forum sponsors Cateye Customs as well as Dr. Vtwin among others.
(Crappy camera + Crappy photographer = Crappy pics. Sorry)
Before:
With new bars. Notice how they totally block view of the fairing mounted mirrors:
New mirror with old mirror:
New mirror with foam backed concho covering old mirror hole. Will do for now until I find something better.

Those are aftermarket made replica heritage bars. $50 outah drag specialties i think. I switched from apes because i see so many coming out of shops these days. Beginning of this past summer with no problem prior kept getting uncomfortable between my shoulder blades after a while. Current configuration is perfect for me and i don't has issues with my wrists being cocked that you read about with these bars often...I could see why some would not like it, but I find them perfect. I did just coil up the extra internal wiring inside the headlight for an easier switch back if I am every inclined.

Oops, I think I found them, are they the tall Heritage 0601-0827?
