I'm happy with my BAL.
All tail lights are plug n play. 3 minutes to install.
Equalizers are only an issue when changing blinkers since the lower power draw of LEDs isn't enough to register with the flasher.
Enjoy. The BAL's are awsome.

I have the HD version, plug and play, couldn't be easier. I think its just 2 screws and a plug.

Same with the Custom Dynamics...2 screws and a plug. Forgot to mention that.

Just installed the BAL-3S (smoked) and it took all of 5 minutes.

I spent more time playing with the different light patterns than actually installing.

As others have noted...they are BRIGHT! It is more noticeable when you stand back a few feet. Just what I wanted.

Pic isn't great, but that glowing red thing is my tail light...without the brake applied.

Take a look at this one from Custom Dynamics. Made for the Street Glide with no tag window. Best of all instead of the chrome housing inside it is blacked out.

Personally I run a BAL. But Custom Dynamics makes a great light that is very bright.

I saw that one but was worried it would be too dark for the rest of my lights.

After reading about the BAL-3S here I got one for myself to replace the Moco smoked lense. NICE -- The BAL is BRIGHT and flexible in the lighting patterns. Sorta spendy but what the heck, it's only money and this is my BIKE!

Does the custom dynamics allow you to lose the external turn signals? I see the pic above doesnt have them.

The turn signals are seperate. That is probably why he has the HD logo bolts there, to cover the turn signal holes.
