Default floorboards to pegs..?

Anyone on here change out their passenger floorboards to pegs? I was thinking about doing it, and asking the wife of course which one she would prefer. Any up side or down side? Pics? Thanks.

Going from floorboards to pegs is a significant change in comfort for both riders.
If you do decide to change.....keep the floorboards near as I think you will swap them back out after a few long rides.

I've changed mine out, but I rarely have a passenger. Easy to change out. I like the looks of them, but I agree, for passenger comfort I'd keep the floorboards.

Man, I just bought a set off of Capt.Mike for $55 shipped. Thanks for the offer though. My wife is actually prefering them. We shall see how much she likes them after a couple of rides.

I'd love to see a clean quick release set-up for the passenger boards. Leave them off...pop them on when toting someone around. I hate the looks of them!

There you go... You could be on to something. I hate them when having a rider. I always hit my leg on them.

i have a set of the Kuryakyn adjustable pegs that clamp on the footboards mounts that the first time my GF used them it prevented my feet from getting to the ground. pretty scary. i took them off and they are collecting dust on the shelf with the footpeg mounts I offered here.

I went from boards to pegs for my passenger's feet. The wife says she prefers the pegs as she can put her feet in more positions, and get her knees lower if desired when wearing a heel. She is 6' so that may have something to do with it. I kept the boards close until I had repeated confirmation that she liked the pegs, then I sold the boards.

Went from pegs on my Street Glide to boards. My passengers really liked the boards better.
