Question Klokwerks or Windvest Windshield ????

Thinking of changing out my shield for either one of these, cant decide between the two! They look great ,do they work like they claim? Want to go with the 3.5" black for my 08 FLHX, Any feedback will help, thanks.

I have two points:

1) Unless you are 5' 2" the 3.5" will do nothing as far as a windshield goes. No matter what the flip is. I have a friend who is very short and has the 3.5" and he wants the 6.5" one if he could sell his.

2) The Windvest is known for cracking easily. I bought an 8" one and the instructions that came with the windshield stated that: "if the screws where not tighten in the proper order the winshield would crack". That is what they said, right in the instructions.

I have a 10" Windvest. It's awesome. Gives me the protection of the stock shield, but I can see over it, and it looks better. No matter what the vendor tells you, a 3.5" windshield isn't going to do anything to keep the wind and road crap off of you.

The KlockWerks shield is nice, but won't work with a windshield bag, and you can't mount a GPS or anything else on your bars with it.

have the 6'5 clearview similar to the windvest. I'm 5'9 and was left wanting a taller windshield.

I've got the 3.5 for around town. Yes you get "some" wind in the face but no head wobble or bobble. At least not me. I'm 5,9'.
On longer runs I put on the 6.5 smoked. I have used the 3.5 for a few runs on the highway that are a couple of hours each way and still had no issues but as I said earlier, you do get some wind. Nothing that moves my glasses around though.
3.5 looks good!
