Default Luggage Rack Options for Street Glide?

What are my options for a luggage rack for my Street Glide? I have the detachable passenger backrest and associated docking points. Looks like HD only has the one detachable luggage rack that mounts to the backrest.

I really like the HD Stealth rack, but wish it was easily removed from the bike. Not sure I would like that on the bike all the time. Anyone have the Stealth rack on their SG and like it being there all the time?

Are there any options other than the Harley racks?

Hi

I have the stealth rack on my SG. Looks very nice, my options were lilited as I got the short sissy bar so none of the backrests worked. It really looks good with back rest on or off. I will snap a few pictures tonight and post them.

I have it on my streetglide. It looks great both ways and it works great with the SAC bag to keep the bag off the paint. Buy it you wont regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does the Stealth rack mount? Do you have to drill holes in the fender? Where do the support brackets go? Was it difficult to install?

The stealth rack is a fairly easy install. No holes needed to be drilled. You remove the rear horshoe shaped bar behind the passenger seat and replace it with the Stealth luggage rack. Took me about 30-40 minutes.

So you're telling me that even though it's not a quick release luggage rack I can install and remove it in about a half hour? Heck I can live with that

I have the stealth rack to. I think once you have it on you won't need to remove it. Sits nice and low. Looks better to me than the stock bar does.

I have a quick detach to go along with the quick detach backrest.

From boulevard to bagger in 2 minutes!

The stealth is without a doubt the best looking one. Really adds to the look of the bike!!
