I up graded my dual bulb with a low beam HID. World of a difference! Like riding with my own private sun beam. With as cheap as the new kits are today, its a no brainer. Even to upgrade your stock bulb with. No need for the high beam. But they do make a hi-lo bulb now.
One thing I heard about the dual bulbs is that some wont adjust up high enough. I noticed that with mine. You need to take out the top spring and cut about 2 coils out. Works much better.
