You are right on the money, although any cam with .525 or less lift ground on the same base circle as stock should do fine with the stock pushrods and no other changes such as head decking, thinned head gaskets, etc.

That being said, I would alway put adjustables in if it was my choice. Oh, and to the one poster in this thread that has indicated there are a lot of problems with adjustables, The problems tht I am aware of are extremely rare, or self inflicted .

I was quoted "a maximum of 4.5 hours with bearings". So about $300 + cams/bearings/misc parts.
