EasternPerformance told me I can run a 200 with a 17" or 18" wheel with no issues.

I have no problem with either size but the 17" wheel is on back order until the 17th of Jan! The 18" is available now so I'm leaning that way because of the availability but want to make sure I wont have any issues with the 18" wheel rubbing. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I do plan on lowering the bike 1" in the rear also!

Call Hogpro they can certainly tell you.I thought you could.I thought is was a 200/55/18!! I could be wrong though!!!

I have a 200/50-18. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 200/55-18 would actually be taller than a 200/50-18?

Sidewall would be 55% of the width (200mm)? Did I get that right?

Yes the 200/55 is about a half inch taller than the 200/50...

Alot of good topics going on right now!

I plan on ordering some rims sometime in Febuary so I'll be watching this thread.

On a side note, can anyone post about the handling after installing the 200 rear? Of course it would be nice to hear from someone who has had both the 200 and stock 180.

Why the concern if it's a 17 or 18" wheel if it's the tire size that's the issue?

Also does anyone have a side by side of the 180 and the 200 on a bike?

My 17" has a 200mm with a 55 sidewall and now the speedo is dead on with my GPS.
It was slow before. Stock setup I had to run 73 on the speedo to show 70 on the GPS

I know the 200 will fit with both the 17" or 18" wheel as far as the width goes... Im concerned about it rubbing on the underside of the fender with the taller 18" wheel.
