Even if it doesn't pay for itself by keeping the rubberside down it will add resale value.

From what I read here - it seems quite a few add stuff to turn their Classics, Road kings, Road glides, and Street glides, into an Ultra (or Ultra like for you space age Roadies). Or eventually just buy the Ultra next. Both cost a lot more then buying the Ultra from the start!
Of course then most are completely happy with whatever they bought.
If you're the kind of guy who likes all the bells and whistles - do it now with the Ultra (with ABS) and you won't be dissapointed!
I'm with others though - ditch the spokes for some $$$!

I say Ultra and consider the limited. I started looking at the classic and ended up with the limited, seemed like more bang for the buck for what I wanted.

Good Luck

Go with the Ultra. Why accept less than the best?

Nope, standard on the Limited only. Optional on all other touring models.

Default Classic...

I went through the same dilemma when decidinfg this fall. I compared options and went with the Classic as the upgrades for the Ultra weren't worth the extra money (to me). If I were two up riding most of the time, and if the Ultra had ABS I would go for it. Because the Ultra doesn't have ABS I would go Classic and use the money for accessories... like I did. From what I have seen out there if you are willing to shop around you can probably find an 09 with ABS for about the same as the 10 Ultra. And if you are really not in a hurry save your money, and buy later in the year whren there are similar deals on the 10s as there are on the 09s now.
