theres just as many red hot sunglo harleys just as there are black ones if u like chrome get black.and people look at black bikes just like they look at any other color. i clean my bike on a daily basis weather i ride or not that day my glide is a 2009 with 10,689 so i do ride. i just take pride in my scoot no matter what color it is i have a 2002 harley f 150 and it looks good all the time i have a 1961 pan thats black and it also looks good. so choose your poison and enjoy

black or sunglo
I have a 2009 e/g classic....red hot sunglo....what a great color..when its all clean and waxed...in the sun it has an orange metal flake...black is nice but no regrets with this color...i have on order a painted inner fairing ...and plan on putting chrome rings around speakers and gauges..
with my 6" dark winshield...going to look bad....

I wish Sunglow was an option on the 2010 FLTRX, the scarlet red option that I had looks more orange than red and although I like orange and I like most of the reds, scarlet red just suks IMO. I bought my first vivid black Harley and I like it. Of course a black Road Glide is a bit easier to find in a crowd than an EG.
If I was getting a new EG, would probably go with the Sunglow. Either way, you're going to have a good lookin' bike! Congrats.

I sold an 07 Vivid Black SG and it was nice...now I have an 09 Red Sunglow RK. I thought I would not like the red but it soooo much more than just "red"...it is a complex deep color I get more compliments on it than I did the black SG.
My reason is mainly because EVERYBODY has black...waaaay too common for my taste in today's sea of Harley's (and now Street Glides too).
SG
