I have a Vivbid black street glide, I have owned many black vehicles and have hated every one but when I saw that SG in Vivid Black on the floor it took my breth away, but I hate cleaning it all the time but there is no pretttier color when detailed.

The same thing happen to me. I was set on Sunglow Red until I walked into the dealership and saw the two bikes side by side. After catching my breath, I stood and watched everyone who walked into the store walk strait to ,my soon to be, Vivid Black Street Glide before they looked at the other bikes.
One other note, not sure if this really amounts to anything but a bike painter told me that Sunglow Red is the hardest color to paint and match. Because of that he charges a lot more to paint that color than any other Harley color.
I had a vivid black 2001 RK and loved it. When I bought the 2009 EGC it was between Sunglow Red and Vivid Black. I went with the Sunglow Red and love it. To each their own. I would suggest whatever color you go with to add some pin stripe, it helps break up the color (red or black) and adds a nice finishing touch.

Black is HD. The colors are cool, but for me the novelty wears off after a bit. But Vivid Black is the Heritage of HD. I was into the Rootbeer SG but let the wife talk me into the vivid black EG Classic, man that bike looks sharp! I topped it off with the quick disconnect kits for the TP and 2 up Saddle.
I'm biased but nothing looks as good as a black bike with chrome when it's detailed out. Don't get me wrong, I've seen other colors and have had then too but went back to black and it's just classic. YES, it is work if you want to keep it looking good but damn it man, they do look good!
