Anyone try one of those with a solo seat? I just won an auction for one on eBay. I really like it with the two up seat, but I don't want to have to remove it if I go to the Mustang solo I have.
Can it be done?

Wally, the Stealth luggage rack replaces the chrome tube that connects the frame struts on your bike. It will have no impact on the fitment of the seat you use. If you have your license plate attached to the chrome tube, you will need to relocate the plate since there is no provision for attaching a license plate to the Stealth luggage rack.

The HD P&A catalog probably has the installation instructions for the Stealth luggage rack in pdf format with the item's description.

 

I'm OK for fitment as I have converted to a Street Glide rear fender assembly. So I'm probably should have asked "should it be done?" Will it look goofy, with the rack out back and no rear seat.
Obviously many go for a solo detach rack or a Motherwell rack with a solo. So what will it look like?
