Default Long Ride windshields Christmas sale

Long Rides are down to $56.99 for Christmas. That is a pretty good price for the flip up style shield.

Anyone have experience with these shields compared to stock. I was wondering how much shorter a flip up shield performs to a stock shield. I have a nine inch Fast Aire right now and its OK. I would like a shorter shield with the same performance.

Also, I have been curious to the new Klock Werks as well. They are A LOT more than the Long Rides however.

My experience is that 2" shorter is about the limit for the same performance.

I can't tell you if the flip really helps. I've never had a "regular" to compare it against.

What I can tell you is that Long Rides makes a great product. Especially for the $$. I've done a couple of long trips with an 8" and have been very pleased with it.

I received the shield about a week after I ordered it. So the owner does a great job of getting his product to you.

I'm 6' 1" and have a stock seat on My 09 Ultra. Right now I have the LRS 9 inch in light smoke and when I hold my hand up on the freeway it feels like the wind tunnel is just over the top of my helmet. I also can easily and clearly see over the top of the shield. So........ I just ordered an 8 inch in medium smoke and think it'll work just fine and look great. Can't beat the price or delivery time on these.

This is the 9 inch light smoke.

Agreed on that, BUT worth every single penny! Made a HUGE difference on my 2010 SG.

Just ordered an 8" clear, never had a "flip-up" shield before so I hope I like it!
