I really like the V&H Twin Slash 2 into 1 (16777) Any idea how they sound?

I'm planning on getting a 2010 road Glide soon, and I was thinking about the exhaust.
I absolutely hate the new 2 into 1 exhaust on the 2010 road glide.
so I'll be looking for a used catless headpipe from 2009 touring bike and buying a set of used mufflers from an '09 CVO touring bike and installing fullsac baffles in them.

both the headpipe and mufflers are all over ebay, all I'll need to do is have the smaller O2 sensor bungs welded into the '09 headpipe in the right places and VIOLA!

Let ua know how this works...I was thinking of going with 010 Classic or Ultra exhaust, no 02 sensor work...and removing the cat.

The first change will be a tuner for the EFI. The stock system runs lean and hot. I'm anxious to get the AFR down and get the bike running cooler. Will likely go with the Thundermax with auto tune as I've had good success with Tmax on my wife's 07 Street Bob. Also planning to add a high flow intake and a good slip on for the 2 into 1. So far I'm leaning toward the V&H twin slash slip on but undecided on the intake at this point. Down the road I'll do a complete exhaust system and get rid of the cats.

IMO B&E Superflows Max 2's give the truest Harley sound, I've had them for 2 years and still love 'em. Best of all they were $159 shipped! Give 'em a listen on theri websit

FuelMoto has a 2into1into2 stainless header that looks pretty good for the '10's.

that would be ideal.
I'll look for a '10 ultra or classic exhaust, remove the cat, and then get the '09 CVO mufflers.

I'm going to suggest that you truly treeat this as a "slip on exhaust". Ditch the cat!

I eventually went with V&H Power Duals and slip on mufflers (KlockWerks)
