Those of us NOT snowbound, see the price of heated gear... gag, and then go buy NON-heated gear... then we buy MORE non-heated gear, and repeat, until we finally DO buy heated gear.
Then we look at the pile of non-heated gear... add up the cost, and wonder WTF was I thinking???? usually we spend more on non-heated gear, than if we just went ahead, and bought the good stuff first

Nothing like easing down the road, in sub-freezing weather, and being toasty warm

Snow??? you're on your own.... but that's WHY, I moved from NJ, to NC

Hoping Santa will bring me a heated vest. Figure that plus the heated grips will go a long way to keeping me toasty here in Georgia.

move to Florida and ride 12 months a year. If you can;t then the heated clothing is an option but really how much fun is it riding in very cold weather. I guess I am just getting soft, But I love to ride and have done 15K a year.... in the spring, summer and fall.

Be Safe JIM

I'd rather ride 9-10 Months in the Rocky's than 1 day in FL. Been there, done that, wouldn't recommend it to anyone. So for you guys that like it so much, why don't you just skip these cold weather related threads and contribute something worhwhiile when or if you can??

Check out www.warmnsafe.com they have a " heat troller" which works like a dimmer switch so you can set the exact temp you like
