Default Display stand install help?

08 Ultra. I purchased a used HD Chrome display stand. The one that mounts behind the front wheel. Anyone have the mount instructions they can post or E-mail me, along with pics? Just not sure where it bolts to the frame at. I got 2 spacers with bolts with the front 2 holes and nothing for the back 2. It might be more obvious when I crawl under it in the daylight, but just looked at it in the poorly lit 30 degree garage, and didn't see where it should bolt. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to unbolt the regulator and push (punch) out the studs then install the longer bolts (from the bottom) that are supplied with the stand. Then remove the lower roll bar bolts and install the spacers between the frame and stand brackets. Install the stand with the upper brackets under the regulator then re-install the regulator on the longer bolts then install the nuts. Install the longer lower roll bar bolts (from the outside) and lock nuts (inside). That is about it. Should take about 20 minutes. Note: DO NOT REMOVE THE CAP SCREW THAT IS ON THE STAND OPPOSITE OF THE GREASE FITTING AS THIS HOLDS THE INNER SPRING IN PLACE.
Also, the stand works well but make dam sure the bike in in gear and facing slighly downhill (forward rolling) when using the stand as there is no lock on the stand and the bike will just roll off it. I use the stand in my garage but I am real carefull on making sure the bike is positioned as mentioned. Also, the idiots at HD must have incorrectly spected the finish as the bottom of the mounts (under the regulator) are nicely polished which you can not see and the top (which is what you do see) is not. I have had two different stands and they were both the same (first one was damaged).

You can try this with the center stand, it works for me.
Get a length of double side Velcro and apply your front brake and
wrap the Velcro around the grip and lever.

Or you can adjust the bolts on the bottom of the legs , so when the stand is deployed, there is plenty of weight on them , preventing the bike from moving forward and off the stand.
To deploy the stand from the drivers seat, push backwards with your *** and lift and pull back on the right hand saddlebag guard with your right hand while pushing down on the stand with your left foot and steadying the bike with your left hand on the bars.
Works for me.

Thanks for all the help guys. Just curious-has anyone ever put a lock on one of these, such as maybe drilling it for a lock pin, or any other ideas? Thats a good idea with the velcro mabernhardt .
