I appreciate the feedback on the burly slammer kit.
I still havent decided on what I'm going to do...I would sure like to get just a little bit lower.
Just been too busy diggin out of our recent 14" of snow.

the custom already has those same shocks so that isn't gonna help. i left the front of mine alone, replaced the stockers with 11-1/2 progressive 440s, no it doesn't ride as nice as the ultra with the 13 inch shocks, but i have no complaints.

i have short legs, when using the stock shocks, it was difficult to back up in a parking lot, my toes reached the ground but that was about it. with the 11-1/2 in shocks, i can flatfoot so pushing the bike around is much easier.
i'm also using a c&c solo seat which sits you down a little lower as well. between the 2, it helps a great deal.

Question for all
I've got a very weird thing going on....
I have a 2007 Road King Custom. I replaced the rear air shocks with 11" eye to eye shocks, which SHOULD have dropped it 1" from the original 12" RKC shocks.
I just measured the bottom of the frame- front and back and it is 4.7" off the ground. Stock is 4.7" off the ground... So when I put the lowered shocks on the back, nothing changed....
So, By lowering the rear end 1", the frame should have dropped in the rear to 3.7" and the front- if not already lowered, should have stayed at 4.7".
I measured the length of the front fork, sitting straight up and on the ground- it measures 27.5" from the top of the nut to the center of the axle.
I called two HD shops and they had no clue and apparently no tape measure to check the front fork length on a stock bike.
From pics on the internet, it looks like the front isn't lowered due to the position of the cowbells and where they come down to on the front fender. But why didn't the rear of the bike lower? I had a shovel and a soft tail and when I lowered them, the frame, as it should have, got closer to the ground.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
