Congrats on your new ride.What year is it?I love the street glide look too,my 06 Standard often was mistaken for one.In the spring I'll be stripping down my new 09 Classic,removing the tour pac and relocating the tag,got a few parts on order now.

good luck, i went through the same issues, i went with the eglide classic with the quick disconnect tour -pak and it was the best decision i made. This has turned out to be the most important single purchase that has given me the most fun in my life.

I prefer the natural color engine on the 09 and earlier E-Glide Standard, much cleaner looking engine. With the $ saved, you can lower the bike, stereo, add what ever seat you prefer and tourpak when needed.

Default Glide?

I vote for the Classic or Ultra if you are going to ride with a passenger. I agree that it is easier and cheaper to take things off, than to have to pay and add on later.
