'Have the DD7 in the '09 SERG for 16k now, it's all they say it is. I would hate to have to go back to the Cruisedrive.

I can easily imagine the MOCO produ ing a 7 gear tranny sooner.
Who doesn't want a yada yada ss.
Planning in keeping my scoot for as long as she'll go, so a dd7 sounds like a great upgrade to me.
Heck, I need an extra gear on it I think LOL

Default Baker 7 need cruise in lower gears.

I have a 2011 SG with the 120 ST & Baker DD7 trans. I like the baker because it's smoother than the HD trans. I have the rekluse clutch and recommend it for shifting with out depressing the clutch lever. don't mind the extra shift and like the lower first gear. Also have the Baker compensator and 1.5 oil pan. I have cruise in 7th gear with 6 gear light on. Would like the cruise in lower gears - any suggestions? Looking for a center stand that will work with the Baker 1.5 oil pan.

Baker DD7 not rated for over 130 TQ. Had to remove from my Hot Rod bike as it was failing. Prefer the HD 6-speed. You can really beat the crap out of it and it can handle it.

I have not seen how much torque the HD trans can except. My 120 ST was at 117 lbs & Rekluse quotes their clutch can take up to 146 lbs. I have not experienced any clutch slippage yet. Numbers are fun to throw around but my riding rarely uses full throttle . still looking for cruise in lower gears.

You should call Mark at Oasis Cycles in Brandon MS. You can unplug your ECM and send it to him and he can map it so your cruise will work
