Let me think. I try not to keep track too much or these things might never get done.... lol. The machine work was about $1200 (including compression releases and shipping back to me), $250 for the cams, set of lifters from LSHD, gaskets, orings.... I'd say about $1700 total maybe. That's before a day at the dyno, so I'd guess a little over $2k by the time it's said and done.

6 oz's, it's blowed, better let me take it off your hands for a cheap price and I will test LOL, just kidding, can't ask for more than that, and I'll have to say this, nothing against HQ in any form or fashion but I'd say you can talk to AMS alot easier than HQ, I don't like not able to talk with someone if I have questions or concerns or having to go through a act of congress to do so and thats pretty much the way HQ is, thats my only fault with them.

It's doing great. I did have it tuned and we got 100 hp and 105 ft-lbs on a "conservative" dyno (tuner's words, not mine). Hit's 95 ft-lbs at 2500 rpm and the torque curve is flat all the way to 5000 rpm. Rides really well in any situation. Snaking through the neighborhood @ 1500 rpm (2nd gear) or 3000 rpm on the interstate is smooth and effortless.
I've heard it said several times "it's all in the tune". That's really the truth. You've got to have a solid foundation, but the tune completes the package. I was riding last summer with 2 friends, one on a stage II SE 103 Heritage and the other on a 110" CVO dyna. It was about 105* in the shade and they were running hot and pinging. I was hot too, but no pinging at all even in 6th gear.
All in all it's a good kit, especially for the price tag. It's a little low on torque compared to the reports on the FM 107", but I'd like to get it on their dyno just to compare apples to apples and see where I am. Bottom line it it's a big gain over a stock 96" and I'm happy with it (for now of course...)
