I had an injury to my right leg about 3 years ago resulting in a condition called drop foot or the inability to pivot my foot up at the ankle. I have to lift my leg to apply rear brakes and as you can guess this slows rear brake application somewhat. That being said I have to rely heavily on the front brake and have had the abs activate several times and I will say it works very well and has saved my butt several times!

 

I hit the brakes on my 04 electra glide in a panic stop and locked the rear wheel ,ended up high siding and going down. My next bike will have ABS for peace of mind.

 

I luv my ABS.. worth every penny...

 

Regarding the question about ABS making you more aggressive. Believe me I was that way long before ABS was ever invented. Age has slowed me down but I still ride harder than most. A curvy road just does something to me.

 

And here I thought that the new Brembo's were just real good in themselves.
