I got my set of lowers in today. Got them disassembled and ready for the painter. Problem is, it going to take me a couple months to save enough money to have them painted. An auction for a set of Vivid Black lowers just ended on ebay for $520 plus tonight. I'll have $502.00 for mine by the time they're painted.
I also was watching that ebay auction just for 'grins' That poor buyer - he could have got those same lowers from LSHD for $519.96 and FREE shipping and they would be 100% instead of 9.9 out of 10 and he had to pay $30 shipping...

i picked up a set of lowers at a swapmeet for $100. one was black the other was blue. i picked up a can of gloss black krylon,scuffed the blue one with some scotch brite and gave it the krylon treatment. i didn't do anything with the black one. a friend gave me a right side glove box for free. the left side doesn't have a glove box.

covers are plastic, with different style snaps.
I was thinking of the speakers install for the gloves anyway.
No paint needed for my bike.

How the hell could anyone consider supporting counterfeiters? Those aren't some expired designs or anything, some clown makes a copy of a Harley part, uses the name Harley in huge print to sell them. Did you ask him where they're made, considering the huge domestic cost of making injection molds? I'm guessing someone hiding overseas where they think they're safe, with some schill selling them here on ebay, who'll disappear when Harley sends the court summons.
