Default MC salvage & used parts Q's

Does anyone do much business with salvage yards for good used parts? I'm trying to locate a interconnect fairing wiring harness (70232-08) for my batwing add-on project, and want to know if anyone has dealt with any reputable bike salvage places and can recommend any, before I am forced to shell out over $200 on this harness.

Seems like someone somewhere has totalled out an 08 touring bike and I can get my hands on one for a good price. Maybe even pick up a few of the other parts for my project as well. I've searched eBay and came up with nothing except the main harness. Any info would help. Thanks!

I bought a SG front fender from this guy. After I bought it, he said that he didn't see a few scuffs on it when he described it to me and sent it off to get painted, on his dime. Really impressed...he may have what you're looking for.

Latus has a salvage shop in Portland that has a good sized inventory.

I've heard they did, where are they located and how do I contact them? What's the name of the salvage place? Thanks

Try Pinwall Cycle Parts. I've had success buying parts from them in the past.
