That is what the summary for the part says, but in previous posts people have had them work fine after installing.

I have the CB on my 07 Ultra. I put the J&M 2003 on the wifes Heritage. We ride together all the time and she loves being able to communicate. We pick a quite channel and speak whenever either one of us needs to say something. No constant chatter just pertinent info. I would by the module it will make for a cleaner look.

Here's the thread with pics I posted on the installation of the BAMI kit, p/n 77108-09:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...tra-glide.html

You can disregard much of it since it concerned installation on my '04 EG which involved changing the handlebar switch harness connector, making a change to the wiring for AVC, etc. which are irrelevant to the installation on your bike.

Very simple installation; definite DIY project.

If you don't want the intercom, simply omit installation of the passenger intercom harnesses, passenger headset connector, and PTT/vol. switch.

Good luck with your project.

CARL, That is an awesome write up. The only thing that I was trying to figure out was if the wiring harness had to e changed for the 09's. Have to go ack to the instructions. If they do I will do this before my ape's next year. If not I'll probably do the apes first.
