Any good dealer would have installed one on the bike before they sold it to you.

I buy my float chargers at Walmart for $20 and it comes with the pigtail. I hook the pigtail to the battery, run it out thru the factory holes in front of the battery, and plug it in whenever the bike is sitting.

I own like 3 of these chargers.........and they perform great.

Get some Gerbing heated gear, wire the connector to your battery & locate the other end where it'll be convenient when you're riding. Then buy the adapter to adapt the battery tender to the Gerbing connector. Two functions for one wire..............

I use one Battery Tender Jr for two bikes. One bike is always plugged in when it's parked. I just alternate which bike is on the tender. During winter storage (which you probably don't understand in Fla), I swap the bike that's on the tender every couple of weeks.

One of the bikes that has gotten this treatment is an '03 with the original battery.

You'll have to get a second SAE pigtail with battery ring connectors for the second bike. My tender came with one pigtail and neither bike came with a pigtail installed.

Default Battery Tender Jr only comes with the 2 prong connector

Hey all,

I picked up the Battery Tender Jr, but it only has the 2 pronged connector while my street glide has a 3 prong connector. Does anyone know where to get an adapter? Do I need an adapter or can i just plug it into the 3 prong?

Thanks

Man you need to make sure that connector is connected to you battery. A battery connection should not have 3 prongs, it should only be 2. Post a pic.

Also my SG didn't come with one from the dealer, not all bikes do.

The harley plug does have three connections (positive, negative and a WTF).
