Gearing?

Gearing?
Still trying to figure this out. So you can do the engine sprocket or trans sprocket. So from what I've heard the engine one is easier but which one is better. I know baker makes them in two different sizes for transmission + new belt. They say at 75 your only at 2700 or so rpms, but what does that mean at 90. I don't want to know which one is the easier install but which is better system. I don't want to change out anything in rear cause I like ids.
Thanks

there are four pulleys that can be changed for gearing....engine or clutch(in primary) and countershaft/rear drive(on the belt).....easiest to change and most common are the primary tooth count....i own an 06 SG and have not fooled with the new harley gears or know whats out there but i do run a Baker DD6 and it runs 3400 rpm @ 90 in 6th, 2700 @ 70, & 3k @ 80...i dont remember the tooth count on the clutch but the engine sprocket is 28 tooth from Baker....before i installed the DD6 i changed the engine/clutch tooth count while running the stock HD 5sp to give more bottom end...since you must pull the clutch and engine sprocket together(bc of the primary chain), you'll be able to change both or just one....i love Baker
