As soon as I get the 2007 RK 103, you all will be the first to hear about the first ride/impressions.

 

The used 07s that my Dept leases from HD (for free, I might add), will show up on the Dealer floor in the spring of 08, when they replace the fleet.

Wish HD would give ALL LEOs that deal. Our dept gets the bikes, in essence for FREE. The dealer gets paid to do all the maintenance and repairs, and our guys take care of adding and removing all the radar equipment, lights, etc. As far as payment for the bikes? ZERO. We get a new fleet every spring, and the old bikes are given back to the dealer, where they sell in the 14,000 dollar range.

 

Unfortunately, our dept. doesn't have motors yet....but it's in the works. For now, I push a cruiser 8 hours a day then head home, open the garage & hit the open road on my RK.

 

I didnt see the Peace Officer Editions on the web site. Was I missing something?

No, they have not posted the Police Officer Special Editions as of yet.

 

No, they are not posted yet. I hope they didnt discontinue them. I bet the 08's will be a 100th Anniversary Edition.
